Public Notice of Significant Amendment to the Annual and/or Five Year Plan
The Ripley Housing Authority is amending its Annual and/or Five Year PHA plan. Ripley Housing Authority has received a Commitment to Enter into a Housing Assistance Payments (CHAP) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the conversion of public housing units to Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) under the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD) in accordance with the guidelines of PIH Notice 2012-32, Rev 2, Rev 3, and any successor notices. Conversion under RAD is considered a Significant Amendment to the Ripley Housing Authority Five Year Plan.
This is a 45-day notice with an opportunity to present public comments regarding this change. The draft of the proposed Significant Amendment is available for review at the Ripley Housing Authority Business Office, 101 Northcrest Street, Ripley, TN 38063. Comments must be made in writing and presented to the main office no later than 3:30 pm on December 19, 2019. A public hearing will be conducted on December 19, 2019, at 3:30 pm at the Ripley Housing Authority Community Room located at 101 Northcrest Street, Ripley, TN 38063.
