As the Class of 2025 prepares to graduate, we pause to honor the memory of Demarcus T. Barnes, a beloved son, brother, student, athlete, and neighbor. Demarcus was not only a resident of Ripley Housing but a young man of character, heart, and ambition. A proud member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Ripley High School football team, he played with determination and passion - on the field and in life. His teammates, coaches, and classmates knew him for his strength, his smile, and the spirit he brought to every game and every day. Graduation was meant to mark a new beginning for Demarcus, a step toward a future filled with promise. Though he will not cross the stage with his classmates, he will forever be part of the Ripley High School Class of 2025.

We remember him not just for the jersey he wore, but for the person he was - dedicated, kind, and full of potential. His impact will never be forgotten, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Demarcus. Your light will continue to shine through those who loved you!

Graduate Spotlight

Ripley Housing would like to congratulate Anetreya Jackson on her high school graduation!

She has worked hard to reach this important milestone and will be continuing her journey this fall at Dyersburg State Community College, where she plans to study Education.

We are so proud of her accomplishments and excited to see her pursue her dream of becoming an educator. The future is bright, and we know she'll make a lasting impact!
